One of our top-tier pieces, the most detailed engraving we offer.

Silver-toned stainless steel. The scrollwork covers the entire band, front to back, with no bare metal left plain.

Each leaf and vine is cut by hand into a flowing scroll pattern, the same style used on fine Mexican silverwork for generations.

The rowel is a full rosette, cut through with the same leaf pattern and finished with a domed center button.

Every curve is cut by hand. Look close and you'll find small differences (no two scrolls run exactly the same).

The Espolón Real was shaped by hand by a Mexican espuelero. The small differences are part of the piece. That's what makes each piece unique.

This style of engraving takes longer to cut than a simple pattern (it's why this is our finest set).

This is one of our heavier sets. Each spur weighs about 1 lb, so you feel the weight and the craftsmanship the moment you pick them up.

Are they really handmade in Mexico?

Yes. Each pair is made in Mexico by an espuelero, a spur maker. The steel is shaped and the pattern is engraved by hand.

You can check it yourself. Look at the rowel. The points are not all the same length, and the gaps between them change as you go around. A file and a hammer leave that. A machine cuts every point the same.

It also means your pair will not match any other pair.

Will mine look exactly like the photos?

Close, but not the same. No two pairs are alike. A small mark or an uneven line is part of the handwork, not a flaw.

If your pair arrives damaged, or is not what you ordered, write to us and we will send a new one at our cost.

How long does shipping take?

We need 1 to 2 days to prepare your order. Delivery takes 5 to 7 days, depending on the shipping option you choose.

Weekends and holidays do not count. If you need them for an event, order at least 2 weeks ahead, or call us: ‪(310) 400-0118‬.

What if I'm not happy with them?

We stand 100% behind our products, and we want you to be 100% satisfied.

If you aren't, send them back within 30 days of delivery. No questions asked.

The spurs must be unused and in the original packaging. Pack them so they arrive safe.

You pay the return shipping. We don't refund the original shipping charge. We refund the price of the spurs within 7 to 14 days after they reach us.

Items bought on sale can't be returned for a refund.

If we sent the wrong pair, or yours arrived damaged, that's different. Write to us and we'll send a new pair at our cost.

Every pair is made by hand, so no two are alike. When a design sells out, that exact pair is gone.
