Silver-toned stainless steel, engraved from end to end in a tight zigzag pattern. Rows of angled cuts run the length of the band. Each one is cut by hand.

No two rows match exactly. The angle moves slightly as the cutting goes, since it's done by hand and not a machine.

The rowel has 8 points. Look close and you'll see small differences. One might be wider. One might sit at a different angle. That comes from a file and a hammer, not a machine stamp.

The Espigas were shaped by hand by a Mexican espuelero. The small differences are part of the piece, not a mistake.

This zigzag pattern is a traditional style in Mexican silverwork. Your pair is one of one. No two pairs that leave the workshop are exactly alike.

Are they really handmade in Mexico?

Yes. Each pair is made in Mexico by an espuelero, a spur maker. The steel is shaped and the pattern is engraved by hand.

You can check it yourself. Look at the rowel. The points are not all the same length, and the gaps between them change as you go around. A file and a hammer leave that. A machine cuts every point the same.

It also means your pair will not match any other pair.

Will mine look exactly like the photos?

Close, but not the same. No two pairs are alike. A small mark or an uneven line is part of the handwork, not a flaw.

If your pair arrives damaged, or is not what you ordered, write to us and we will send a new one at our cost.

How long does shipping take?

We need 1 to 2 days to prepare your order. Delivery takes 5 to 7 days, depending on the shipping option you choose.

Weekends and holidays do not count. If you need them for an event, order at least 2 weeks ahead, or call us: ‪(310) 400-0118‬.

What if I'm not happy with them?

We stand 100% behind our products, and we want you to be 100% satisfied.

If you aren't, send them back within 30 days of delivery. No questions asked.

The spurs must be unused and in the original packaging. Pack them so they arrive safe.

You pay the return shipping. We don't refund the original shipping charge. We refund the price of the spurs within 7 to 14 days after they reach us.

Items bought on sale can't be returned for a refund.

If we sent the wrong pair, or yours arrived damaged, that's different. Write to us and we'll send a new pair at our cost.
